Two different drying processes of high-viscosity materials (such as sludge)
The materials can be subjected to semi-drying or full-drying processing according to the final disposal purpose. Semi-drying process refers to direct discharge when the moisture of materials reaches to a certain extent after drying, so as to facilitate the next process (such as direct incineration, and the heat energy generated by sludge incineration can be sent to the dryer). Full-drying process means that a part of dry materials are returned to the feed port, mixed with the wet material, and further sent to the dryer so that all materials can be fully dried.
Structure of high-viscosity dryer
High-viscosity dryer is a set of hollow spiral turntable connected with a hollow shaft, and the shaft is fixed on the discs at both ends through bearing and connected with steam through a rotating joint. The transmission of dryer is installed at one end of the stator and composed of motor, reducer and coupling. The materials to be dried flow from one end of the dryer, by the gap between turntable and stator, to the other end and out of the discharging valve at the bottom. After contacting with the heat transfer device on the surface of turntable, the water content in the materials will be evaporated. The scraper between turntables can prevent caking and adhering on the discs. The water vapor released from the materials gathers on the dome and discharged from the exhaust steam pipe.
